Our second event for 2022 was at Ruth Hardy Park on April 16, 2022, from noon to 4 PM.
The DJ for this event was Peter Barona who is well known around Palm Springs. He did an outstanding job.
Our Charity for this event was Dawn of a New Day Pet Rescue and we were pleased to raise about $850 for them.
There was a flagger class by David beginning at 11 AM to get everyone warmed up, teach novice flaggers, and demonstrate some advanced movements. Loaner flags were available. It was great to see new people.
The silent auction of new flags donated to FITD raised funds to cover our expenses for November and into next year. We want all money collected at these events to go to our chosen charity.
